About this listen

Faisel: I've always felt the pressure to succeed, but instead of the conventional path, one that my family wanted, I chose music. As the drummer for Wayward Lane, I've experienced all the highs and lows of rockstar life including addiction. Now there's another battle I'm facing—my intense feelings for my best friend and bandmate, Ronin Stadler. We grew up together, inseparable to this day but our lifelong bond is shifting. Do I keep my feelings a secret or risk our friendship for something more?

Ronin: Growing up in a home that was anything but stable, music was my escape and Faisel Reed, my rock. My friendship with him has grounded me, weathering the craziness of rockstar life. But lately, he's been pulling away and for the first time in a long time, I'm scared. The thought of losing him makes me look at our relationship in a whole new light.

One that looks a lot like forever.

4-Ever is a best friends to lovers, hurt/comfort, MM rockstar romance filled with magnetic chemistry, lifelong love, and a HEA fit for rockstar soulmates.

Amazing best friends to lovers!

I’ve been waiting for Ronin and Faisel’s story since I first read Punk-In. Like any friends to lovers story there was some angst and pinning. They’re rockstars so of course there was so much drama. Fais and Ronin took ages to realize what everyone else could see, that they were perfect for each other. Practically soul mates! Zachary Zaba took this one to the next level!

So good!

Such a great ending to this series. I love Ronin and Faisel and I’m so glad to finally read their story. I love rockstar books, but throw in friends to lovers, hurt/comfort, pining and forced proximity, I’m hooked! If you’re a fan of this series, this is a must read!!

This Series Rocks! Excellent Story, Characters & Listen🎧

It is great to be back in Ava Olsen’s “Wayward Lane” world again for another amazing MM rockstar romance, a friends-to-lovers romance that rocks your world. This book is Faisel & Ronin’s story, and the two go way back, so not only do we get their story, but we go back to the start of the band, which I absolutely loved. Faisel and Ronin’s journey to one another was not always an easy one, but I loved being along for the ride. The story is captivating from start to end and the writing, plot and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. There is never a dull moment in the book, and the story is entertaining, with a perfect balance of drama, angst, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. This entire series is amazing, and this book brings us full circle, and I hope it is not the last we see of these characters. Ava Olsen, thank you for this fabulous story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧Zachary Zaba did a fabulous job bringing these characters to life and did so with a complete understanding of who he was portraying, giving each their own distinct voice, making it easy to follow along and tell who is who. He set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling each one. Zaba is an entertaining storyteller and his performance elevated this already amazing story to another level. Thank you for another fantastic listen.

Never Faltered!

We definitely get the most pining for last in this series. I loved that we got to see Faisel and Ronin's friendship from beginning to end. It is a long, tough road for them both as individuals and as friends. The saving grace was that you could feel through it all that neither of them ever faltered in their care for each other. It was fascinating to listen how being famous rockstars affected them each differently. Zachary was the perfect narrator to bring across all the emotions here!

Ronin and Faisel

Faisel and Ronin take us on their journey in 4-Eᴠᴇʀ by Ava Olsen, the third book in the Wayward Lane series.

I have been waiting for Faisel and Ronin since book one of this series. Their journey was a wild ride and did not disappoint.

Faisel always felt different and decided to pave his path instead of the one paved for him. Becoming a rockstar and touring the world was a dream come true and falling for his best friend was never supposed to happen.

Ronin always struggled with an unstable home life, so when Faisel took him under his wing, promising him the ultimate dream, he jumped at the opportunity. As the years progressed, Ronin's feelings towards his best friend changed.

Faisel and Ronin love living life as rockstars and enjoying all of the benefits until something changes and they realize they love each other as more than just friends and bandmates.

Ronin and Faisel's journey spans two decades, allowing us to experience their highs and lows on their journey to their happily ever after. There is no denying the connection and chemistry between Faisel and Ronin from the beginning. We also get the backstory of Wayward Lane, how they got together and their name.

If you enjoy...

4-Eᴠᴇʀ was already a great read but Zachary Zaba did a fantastic job giving the characters life and bringing the book to life, making it even more amazing.

Wayward Lane is the definition of a found family. and I am glad we are getting more from this world with some behind-the-scenes antics and loveable side characters getting their happily-ever-afters.

So good

Best friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes. These two are pretty clueless and champions of pining. I really enjoyed this one. Zachary Zaba did a good job bringing them to life.

Best Friends to More

These two go through so much both together and separately during their story. It is a rollercoaster of emotions but it is all worth it for this great story. The audiobook for this made the story even more enjoyable. Zachary Zaba does a wonderful job with the narration.

I received an ARC and this is my unbiased opinion

What a great ending to this series!!!

“You know no matter what, we’re always gonna be best friends. Always. Nothing changes that.”

The very first book I listened to by Ava Olsen was Punk-In. This is where I first fell in love with Wayward Lane. Zachary Zaba, narrator, did a fantastic job with these books.

I really loved how the author started this story with how these guys first met, at the age of ten, then became best friends. I loved all the back story.

Best friends to lovers is always a good trope for me and this book did not let me down. There are quite a few MM rockstar romances out there and this series rates right up there with some of the best.

Best friends to lovers, mild angst, jealousy, wild parties, the rockstar life

Ronin & Faise

Book 3 and finale of the Wayward Lane series, 4-Ever, was a little hit or miss for me. I loved the ending, it was the perfect HEA for everyone, but it was getting that was hard. I could not get into the backstory and that was 50% of the book, I enjoyed the present time more. Overall, enjoyable and I would highly recommend Zachary Zaba. His narration is top tier and I could listen to him speak all day.
