A HORROR!
Frankly, this is the first time that I've been upset with Audible! I've been a loyal customer for over 5 years, and I'm surprised that this recording is even availabe! There is so much wasted space filled with weird electronics and cheesy horror sounds, not to mention - advertisement to the producers website between every tale! This recording is amaturish! Spend your money or credit elsewhere!
P.S. I was forced (by this software) to give it one star for which it does not deserve.

Dont buy. can even make out the dialog
These are a great disappointment. Too many sound effects and too little content.
For example, one of my all time scary stories, "The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar" was pretty good until it got to the climax when the dean person talks, and all the words were entirely unintelligible. The entire story, "Silence, A Fable" was also impossible to understand, I could only catch about 1 in 20 words. The poem, "El Dorado" was a few seconds of poetry and 20 minutes of sound effects. Some of the stories were good but Audible should cease selling this until the producer goes back and re-masters this.
