Die Wechseljahre werden vielfach in Ratgebern thematisiert - und dennoch oft ein Tabu in der Gesellschaft. Die oft gehörten Sprüche mancher Mütter und Großmütter – oder sogar mancher Ärzte – dass da eben "jeder durch muss, durch die Wechseljahre" sind als Plattitüde in keinster Weise hilfreich, mit der Situation adäquat umzugehen.
Immer noch werden die Wechseljahre tabuisiert oder bagatellisiert und Frauen gehen in diesen sensiblen Jahren des körperlichen Umbaus oft über ihre physischen und psychischen Grenzen hinweg. Sie verbessern dadurch nicht ihre Gesamtsituation, sondern setzen sich dadurch noch mehr Stress aus. Der Körper und die Seele verändern sich – und wir Frauen sollten diesen Prozess ernst nehmen und ihn sensibel unterstützen und thematisieren - sowohl in der Familie, unter Freunden, bei Partnern, Ärzten – als auch eventuell gegenüber Arbeitgebern.
Die kleine Achtsamkeitsübung mit Affirmationen zu den Wechseljahren können regelmäßig angewandt werden. Und innerhalb dieser Übung können Sie auch immer wieder eine eigene Affirmation für sich entwickeln, denn Wechseljahre sind nichts Statisches und veränderte Situationen bedürfen auch immer wieder neue, selbststärkende und sich selbst unterstützende Worte und Sätze. Daher mein Tipp: schreiben Sie sich nach der Übung ihr darin angewandtes Affirmationswort oder ihren Satz auf und wenden Sie ihn bei Bedarf immer wieder an in ihrem Alltag, wenn sie ihn brauchen - oder die Übung gerade wieder für sich anwenden.
