Engaging 10-min stories great for all ages
The audiobook's description piqued my curiosity, particularly because of its convenient 10-minute story duration. I decided to give it a try, and it has proven to be an excellent choice for our car rides. My children, aged 10 and 11, have shown genuine interest and engagement while listening. I have found them quite interesting as well! The narration quality is top-notch, and I definitely this audiobook. It's worth noting that the author has other books available, and we're eager to explore them as well!

Mythology brought to life
I grew up loving history and mythology so this was perfect for me. The stories were entertaining and easy to visualize. The longest stories were the Egyptian mythology stories. It was familiar , but I learned about a lot of new chacters I never new about. The Mesopotamia stories of Gilgamesh were soulful and sad. My favorite were the Norse stories. I do have to say the marvel movies have sort of ruined it for me. I had a hard time visualizing it the way it should be. Overall a great set of stories!

Timeless Tales!

Fun Stories
I got this audiobook so that I can share my interest in Mythology with my grandchildren.
These stories are perfect for keeping kids engaged because they are exciting and short. All of grandkids have enjoyed them so far - boys and girls alike.
I am not disappointed! The narration is good, easy to understand and kept the kid's attention. My grands are ages 3-8. They usually ask for "one more" at the end.

HORUS HOR D’OEUVRES & BITE-SIZED BEOWULF!
Author Joy Chester presents her wonderful concept of presenting full-spectrum mythology from ancient cultures in easy-to-understand and thoroughly engaging 10-minute segments.
I love that they're short enough to be shared with my grandkids at bedtime. Each story is beautifully written and completely engaging, and the kids always ask for more at the end!
The narration by Dave Milliken is perfect. You will want to plug these into car trips, plane trips, and, of course, bedtime.
Highly recommended.

Perfect for Bedtime — Short, Fun, and Educational!
I picked up this audiobook for my nephew, and it’s been a huge hit! The stories are just the right length for bedtime—engaging but short enough to hold his attention. I love how the book blends mythology from different cultures like Egypt and Norse legends while keeping it kid-friendly. He’s already asking for more about Thor and Horus! A great way to spark curiosity in history and mythology without overwhelming younger listeners. Highly recommend!
