複数の進学塾の社会科主管を歴任、また名門私立中高の歴史教師として長年中学受験、高校受験の指導にあたる。
小学生から高校生まであらゆる世代の受験指導をしてきた経験から「歴史"を"学ぶ」ではなく「歴史“で”学ぶ」をテーマに、受験対策に留まらない生きる力を養うための歴史授業を展開している。
