Yoga Thought

La filosofia Yoga ritiene che l'uomo si è sviluppato da forme vitali elementari e per evoluzione è progredito e va progredendo ancora, da manifestazioni mentali elementari, verso le manifestazioni più evolute dello spirito. Sappiamo che lo spirito è in ognuno di noi, e che questo spirito si manifesta in ogni forma vitale, anche nelle più semplici o inferiori, e si affatica a cercare o elaborare un modo di manifestarsi sempre maggiormente evoluto.

La dottrina Hatha Yoga sostiene che l'organismo è composto di cellule, ognuna delle quali è estremamente vitale. Questa vita della cellula, ne controlla ogni azione. Infatti queste vite infinitesimali, sono in realtà le scintille di una mente intelligente e danno alla cellula il potere di eseguire la propria funzione in modo esatto. Tali parti di intelligenza sono ovviamente controllate dal cervello dell'uomo. Obbediscono perciò ai suoi ordini, sia che vengano impartiti in modo consapevole, sia che vengano da impulsi inconsci.
