Me, Myself, and I Poems, sheds light on the word sacrifice, and learning how to cut your loss without the aftermath of guilt. This poetry book is about marking one’s territory, setting ground rules, having moral independence, and knowing when to say, “NO,” it’s about me, myself, and I this time. After giving of myself freely over the years, I decided to save a piece of the story for me, and write this book from the depths of my soul.

In 2020, I made a heavy and very unpopular decision to walk away from my employment at Baylor University in a very public way. In this book, I talk about the why, as well as the what, and all the beauty that has bloomed from the ashes for me and my family.
