Pre-launch review: Tim’s – the author’s – journey through the Falklands war is very well drawn and I felt it offered me a strong taste of the experiences he had - experiences which were arduous to say the least, yet littered with army humour. The love story with Elly is mainly centred on letters they shared and I will admit to reaching for the tissues at the end. Two people separated by war and united through love. The Falklands Engagement is a factually correct account of the author’s experience during the Falklands war, but the love story aspect is fictitious....
