Gunnar is the son of a Viking chieftain, living peacefully with his mother, father, and their people - until they are raided by Skuli and his Wolf Men, who raze his home to the ground and take his father’s life. This story is an adaptation of the original German fairy tale König Drosselbart by the Grimm brothers. It is set among the Vikings, where Viking-girl Gro just does not fit into the customs of her society. When her father conspires with one of his "drengrs" to break her spirit, Gro uses her wit and courage to find her own path in life.

In the year 2025, 20-year-old Anirudh starts dreaming of Krishna. But these visions that keep flashing through his mind are far from an ordinary fantasy - they are vivid episodes from the god's life.
