Bailey’s parents enter him into a Halloween costume competition just for dogs. Bailey can sense something exciting is coming soon, but he’s not sure what that will be. But what should Bailey dress as in the costume competition? Daddy isn’t sure, so to get inspiration for the costume, Daddy and Bailey have a wonderful time exploring the city. But will Daddy find a costume in time for the costume competition? And will Bailey win the competition for best costume?

This is GG, and this is my story told through a series of blogs from the time I got here to now. The blogs are informative and talk about all the mistakes I made. You will learn how we overcame all the obstacles that came in the way. Those mistakes ranged from feeding her to bringing in another Shih Tzu dog. The information I give you is relevant no matter the time. I served in the military; however, with all that training, I was not prepared for what one little Shih Tzu dog could do for my life. There was much more to getting a dog that I didn’t consider.

After Bailey’s mommy and daddy meet a surfing dog in Costa Rica, they get a good idea: Why not try to teach Bailey how to surf too? Back home in Canada, Mommy organizes a visit to a friend who lives by a wavy lake, and Daddy plans out how he is going to teach Bailey how to surf. Starting by sniffing Daddy’s surfboard, to eating treats off of it, Bailey eventually learns how to balance on the surfboard in the water. When Bailey gets nervous about the moving water and big waves, Daddy and Mommy fear Bailey might not enjoy surfing.

The snow has started to fall, and the holiday season has begun in Canada. As the weather gets cooler, things start to change around Bailey’s house. Mommy and Daddy take Bailey to a new place, they put a big green tree in the living room, and they light candles on the coffee table. Bailey even gets a new present that he can use with his Daddy. Bailey is confused with all of this change at first, but he feels safe knowing that everyone around him is happy, and that Mommy and Daddy and their families are spending time together.

Bailey struggles to find his place with his new family, then he trains to become a service dog, and finally learns to overcome his fear to sail on a boat with his family.
