Stoicism is a way to take more control over your life. It ensures you are going to be the one who controls your emotions. You still feel emotions, but you learn how to take a step back from those emotions and evaluate them. Sometimes, those emotions are warranted, and you can let them out. But many times, those emotions aren’t worth the effort or aren’t merited for that situation, and you let them pass.
