On October 12, 1972, a plane carrying a team of young rugby players crashed into the remote, snow-peaked Andes. Out of the 45 original passengers and crew, only 16 made it off the mountain alive. When he first met the man who called himself David Koresh, David Thibodeau was drumming for a rock band that was going nowhere fast.
