This book is a series of short essays seeking to answer life's most enduring question: Does God exist? I have attempted to craft a book that is well-researched but also easy to listen to and understand. Each essay can be listened to in less than 10 minutes. In the end, it is important to know whether God exists or does not exist. There is no third option. Which of these beliefs is true, and which one is not?

In one astonishing, short period–the ninth century BCE–the peoples of four distinct regions of the civilized world created the religious and philosophical traditions that have continued to nourish humanity into the present day: Confucianism and Daoism in China; Hinduism and Buddhism in India; monotheism in Israel; and philosophical rationalism in Greece. Historians call this the Axial Age because of its central importance to humanity’s spiritual development.

In The Bible’s Cutting Room Floor, acclaimed author and translator Dr. Joel M. I have always felt compelled not to allow women’s research to be further behind, as we live in a patriarchal society. For the Christian female, we are even further behind with well-articulated research on Christian women’s sexual health, because we are just emerging from decades of purity culture in the Western, White, patriarchal church systems. We need all women’s voices to bring their stories to the table, so here is mine.
