People from all over the empire came to Ephesus because it was the political, social and economic center for this region.

The Daily Visits Series is a collection of devotions written over more than fifteen years. These brief studies, collected together, now form a simple commentary of specific portions of the Word of God. The book, Fifty Bible Devotionals, is a book described by its title. The author has been active for over 40 years in teaching and preaching from God's word. It has become his close companion over those years, as he daily takes the time around 5:00 AM to read and study its pages. Each one is built upon a passage of scripture that can be applied to our daily lives. They can also be used as the subject or topic for a bible study as well as the jumping-off point for sermons.
