Spiritual Biography

Hello listener, welcome to my book, Darkness to Light. This book is about me as a young girl, young woman, and adult woman. I went through experiences in my life that were very traumatic. I came to find a way out of the darkness in my life through Jesus. I am excited to know you are interested in my book. I wrote this book to inspire you, motivate you, help you heal, and take you to your destiny with God, for you to know that there is a new journey ahead: a journey of life, and of blessing. Life can be one of the most beautiful things an individual experiences; nonetheless, in the blink of an eye, major life events can present a new reality. Now I Can SEE the Light describes Clive Clarke's journey in pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering and the ways the fragility of life changed his trajectory. Although becoming a mechanical engineer is still a possibility, achieving this goal has become increasingly difficult because of unexpected challenges. Furthermore, this book discusses the ways Clive deals with the new normal in his life.

The emergence of this project is due to a fascinating discovery by coauthor James Harman; his great-grandfather Robert Slothower (born in 1871) had left an incredible handwritten life-story manuscript behind. Plains to the Pacific is a well-written and gripping time-capsule account of a lost world. Some have remarked that the author's style reminds them of Hemingway’s. Plains to the Pacific is an engaging listen, the tale of a man who survived more hardship and excitement before he was 30 than most of us will experience in our lifetime.

Discoveries is Eugenia Price's honest account of her quest to find out what Jesus Christ means to her, and how her newfound belief in him has changed her life. Eugenia Price wrote Discoveries - her first book - two years after her conversion to Christianity at the age of 33. It is an authentic journal of her spiritual journey from nonbeliever to believer. Discoveries is filled with the vitality and excitement of a new disciple, and yet, as the author states, it is still startlingly central to what I believe today.

This was my assignment: to write everything down without adding or removing a single detail, so that you will believe that Jesus Christ is real, and He exists. I'm not a miracle worker, nor have I been anointed with some supernatural power to convince you, but I know that my testimony about Jesus Christ is true.

It is about my heritage, hard work, and simple living with our struggling poor family and my connections with nature and God. It is a true account of my parents, brothers, sisters, relatives, and friends growing up on Big Plum Creek Road, surrounded by the rural farming areas of Kentucky. As a young boy, I searched for the spirit of God while wandering in the woods and walking along the edges of the creeks. I was at peace with nature. I have experienced a broken heart four different times by four different wives, but I have been single now for fourteen years!
