Self Enlightenment

Self-Inquiry provides practical methods for making use of abiding inner silence (the Witness) cultivated in deep meditation, resulting in increased inner stability and happiness amidst the ups and downs of life. The practice of self-inquiry also aids us in realizing the ultimate truth of existence - the oneness that we are and the unity of all that exists. With the dawn of the Witness, we develop an increasing ability to observe our thoughts as objects.

The universe is governed by law - one great law. Its manifestations are multiform, but viewed from the ultimate there is but one law. We are familiar with some of its manifestations, but are almost totally ignorant of certain others. Still we are learning a little more every day - the veil is being gradually lifted. We speak learnedly of the law of gravitation, but ignore that equally wonderful manifestation, the law of attraction in the thought world. We are familiar with that wonderful manifestation of law which draws and holds together the atoms of which matter is composed.

Awakening to our nondual nature doesn’t require years of effort, exiting everyday life, or traversing a complex path. It is available here and now.
