Orchestrated at the highest levels of society, the nation’s food supply has been hijacked and contaminated in the first step of a global plot. George Miles, a scientist, discovers something is wrong and joins grocery delivery driver Dustin Fowler on the trail through a world turning insane: terrorist wristware, inflatable farm equipment, a woman following her dream to become the world’s fattest person and Tolkien-themed Pyramid schemes all stand in their path to save everyone from a monstrous fate.

I wanted to write a book that makes people laugh when they read about Stoicism. Comedy is an important way of revealing truth to us in its different forms. I also wanted to educate people about Stoicism while comparing it to other philosophies or topics or things in a tongue-in-cheek way.

In her second hilarious adventure, animal mindreader Opie Jones is off to Scotland to join her dad on the set of his Scottish medical TV show, Highland Docs, accompanied by friends Jackson and Cillian, as well as Margot, the cat with attitude, and Opie’s super-keen new sidekick, Slug (an actual slug). But before they get the chance to try out their acting skills, dastardly villain Varling and his band of brainwashers are back with an evil new plan! Can Opie and the gang (plus a showbiz pig) save the day?
