A study of Aubrey Beardsley's work exhibited at Tate Britain until May 25, 2020. The author considers the darkly vigorous imagery of the short lived genius, his graphic work for the notorious Yellow Book, and sublimely erotic illustrations for Lysistrata by Aristophane and Salome by Oscar Wilde, which frank imagery even shocked the author.

Why remain perplexed about the purpose of existence, when understanding it can bring much joy, despite times of personal anguish? There is a happy reason for everything, which provides a solid foundation for decision making. It's worth knowing about. The author of this little book is a 77-year-old grandfather who had a career in scientific research. In his pondering, he concluded that science primarily describes the nature of existence (the how), while religion primarily reveals the purpose of existence (the why); nonetheless all truth fits together into one harmonious whole.
