Renaissance History

Das Wort “Renaissance” ist Französisch und bedeutet “Wiedergeburt”. Der Name bezieht sich auf den Zeitraum zwischen dem 14. und 17. Jahrhundert, als Europa ein ausgeprägtes Wiederaufkommen der klassischen Kunst, Bildung, Philosophie, Architektur und Naturwissenschaft erlebte.
