The 97 free-verse poems in No Way are incredibly funny, but for seekers they may also seem paradoxical, heretical, penetrating, and insightful. If you’re lucky, you’ll recognize yourself in its words–it’s good to see when you’ve been taking yourself a little too seriously. So, there is a common bond, a genetic unity reflected also in words and cultures. Ultimately, this bond also exists in our common faith. The way that Allah communicates with man is through a common matrix of speech, and the way He reveals is through poetry, using metaphors and allegories.
