Meditation has been around a very long time and has helped countless individuals take control of their lives and deal with problems such as Anxiety and Depression. Meditation isn't about denying negative thoughts and feelings it's about acknowledging them and then having the patience and control to let the feelings pass.

The author emphasizes that the Board of Directors should start every meeting discussing the customers. What are they thinking? How is our franchise doing? What are the metrics of repeat business? Trial and similar questions. Why? Because financials are reasonably straightforward, most Board members are good at understanding them without conversation, and customers are the foundation of every organization.
