After the first day of first grade, Henry's not sure how he feels about it. The teacher isn't like his kindergarten teacher, and the fifth-graders hog the monkey bars. But as Henry tells his mother about a new friend who likes soccer and about how he'll learn to read books, he begins to realize that maybe first grade won't be so bad after all.

Wallace, a mouse, can do almost anything, as long as he has a list. Then he meets a new neighbor, Albert, who loves music and adventure, and Wallace discovers a wonderful world that he and his lists had not anticipated.

Little Elliot, the polka-dotted elephant, and his friend Mouse go to the amusement park to see the sights and ride the rides - water chutes, roller coasters, carousels, and more. But Elliot isn't having much fun - the rides are too wet, too fast, too dizzy, and just plain too scary - until Mouse figures out a way to help him overcome his fears. Together, Mouse and Little Elliot can do anything!

Mildred and Sam live in a tiny burrow underneath the daffodil roots. Sam is happy, but Mildred dreams of a bigger house. Will her dream come true?
