National Identity

The work focuses on the history and multicultural nature of Belize, formerly British Honduras, whose national identity is a product of multiple ethnic and cultural identities amalgamated, and sometimes fused, to form a single nation.

After victory in World War II, Britain was a relieved but also a profoundly traumatized country.
