The Economic System of Islam is an English version of a lecture delivered in Urdu by Hazrat Mirza Bashir-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad, the Second Khalifah, head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community to a gathering of academia in Lahore, Pakistan, in 1945. The book presents a detailed account of the teachings of Islam regarding the system of economics. It demonstrates that economic system of Islam is placed within the broader teachings of Islam, with the objective of attaining the pleasure of Allah and everlasting bliss in the hereafter.

Christians oftentimes are so ignorant of Islam and Mormonism that they argue that the Quran or Book of Mormon can’t be true if they contradict the KJV Bible, because they don’t understand that the Quran says that the Bible was altered by copyist transcribers onto decaying scrolls repeatedly, while Joseph Smith said the Bible was mistranslated if it disagrees with Mormonism. Refutation of the Divinity of Christ (Ibtal Uluhiyyat-e-Masih) was originally penned in Urdu by Hazrat Maulana Hakeem Noor-ud-Deen, Khalifatul-Masih I (ra). The book was written at a time when highly charged religious polemics dominated the atmosphere throughout British India. Christian missionaries engaged in aggressive campaigns to proselytize the Muslim masses and boasted of considerable success.

A Gift for Baghdad is the English translation of Tuhfa-e-Baghdad, which was written in Arabic by the Promised Messiah (as) in 1893. It is a reply to an announcement and letter written in Arabic by As-Sayyid ‘Abdur Razzaq al-Qadiri of Baghdad (residing in Hyderabad, India at the time) maligning the Promised Messiah (as) and accusing him of disbelief (God forbid). In A Gift for Baghdad, the Promised Messiah (as) dispels the misunderstandings and misconceptions held by al-Qadiri and advises him not to hastily accept the allegations of the ulama without proper and thorough investigation.
