Memoir Poetry

As a fan of mainstream singer and songwriter music, I have become an expert in the dualistic creative process and passion involved in art.

Looking back is often like looking in a mirror - all the imperfections are obvious. This is the journey of how two women look back saw their past reflections and use them to do good. How they managed to smooth out the path ahead. How they reconcile themselves with who they are and who they will be. Every path has a crossroad and finding the peace to be satisfied with the choices is part of every journey.

A child born into a dysfunctional family is trying to find out how she fits into the world, by watching the mistakes of others; she has to learn to love the skin she is in, while not letting her family define who she is capable of becoming.
