Life Lessons in the Key of Life can be summarized by the following: It takes all kinds of people to make a world. The good, bad, and ugly consequences one goes through and deals with on a daily basis.

My poetry is at times raw, sensuous, and evocative, and guarantees a stirring of all senses. Some poems will melt your heart or arouse you; others will leave you with a myriad of acute emotions. Others will make you smile, even bring tears to your eyes. Some, I hope, will provide comfort in knowing you are not alone, even when life is not always kind. I see us all as clay on a potter's wheel. Life’s trials represent the reshaping of who we are, and that reshaping is never ending. My poetry reflects that truth as an expression of my experiences.

The title of my book is one of the poems entitled Life Is Too Short. I added "to Waste" to give the title a more significant meaning. People are getting killed every day at a very young age and a fair number of people were dying of natural causes, and I am sure they have not accomplished their goals when they were killed. I have many pieces in this book, and I hope each and every piece will be comfort and enjoyment to my listeners. This is my second poetry book.

Twelve-year-old David Snod's life is nothing but problems: He can't stop stuttering. He gets bullied constantly. His little sister, Sophia, acts like she's his protector. As I journey through life, I continue to observe how we treat life and how life, in return, treats us. I see the evil that people do to fellow human beings and their cruelty to animals. Much as I try, I cannot shut my eyes and ears to what people do. Even when I try to ignore these things, the vital sensory organs that connect my brain to the world will not cease to send signals to my brain. As my brain processes all the information that my eyes and ears send, it engages my heart and causes it not to rest.

A day in the life of a poet is truly about searching for a unique writing style and what better way than crossing over through the shortest possible verse, even though the shortest possible way is truly not the easiest way! But even so, it was my way of developing one of many writing styles which let me into writing much better even though I no longer write in this poetic style, it is still reflected in my other and more knowledgeable and inspirational style!

When the voting is over, every magician has been elected to office; everyone, that is, except young Abracadabra Bartholomew Brown. Why not Bartholomew? Because he stutters, which causes some people to tease him and think less of him.
