The novella takes place in the city of Greenville where a heinous murder occurs. The killer leaves messages for the police written in her victim's blood, maybe to annoy the police or maybe to leave a clue about the next murder. The point of views interchange betwixt the protagonist, Detective Lynn Pocker, and the serial killer. You are in for a treat. This is filled with action, seduction, lies, and deceit. If that's your cup of tea, then this is definitely the audiobook for you.

Edgar Poe was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on 19th January 1809. Poe is also one of a number of authors credited with inventing the detective genre with his Parisian sleuth C. Auguste Dupin. He's featured in three stories, including the legendary ‘Murders in the Rue Morgue’, and by sheer deduction, logic and a touch of Gallic arrogance revealed what was hidden to the rest of us.
