The Exorcism is a book addressing the causes of my feelings of being unwanted. We all have our battles and I needed to clear my conscience which has led me to writing The Exorcism. Mental health is a big part of my life and this world, so I feel like it is very important that we address and solve the problems we have so we don’t continue to lose our friends/ family members to suicide. Depression, anxiety, etc., are illnesses that are downplayed and it’s long overdue for it to be taken seriously.

These poems on resilience offer a durable hope for hard times. They were all written in June and July of 2020. Ranging from an ode to hackneyed poems about the moon to free verse about schizophrenic walls, these poems should at least give you something new to think about and read to get your mind off of the current pandemic.
