Great Poetry

Assets of Inspiration is a collection of poems I started writing back in 2020 during the pandemic to encourage and inspire others during a tough time for so many. I call them poems but they are really pure inspiration and motivation disguised as poetry. Little did I know it would send me on a path to write 3 books. This is my original work that started it all. I am re-working the original writing and expanding it to be more than just poems but also diving into the assets we discover through adversity, challenge, and struggle.

The soldier in the army of Jesus Christ clings to all he’s worth to his master. He knows darkness and he knows failure well. Weakness is his enemy. God turns weakness into strength. Our Lord submitted to abuse and captivity, even to the point of death, to set his captive people free. Seeds of evil bear a bitter fruit.

Traditional fairytales are full of cliché and gender stereotypes. Today, Christians in the United States of America are asleep, and it's time for them to wake up! While Jesus Christ taught his followers to love their enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them that persecute you, various presidents, politicians, and even religious talking heads command their constituents and listeners to kill their enemies, do evil to them that hate you, and bomb them that persecute you. The question is, who will you follow: the religious right or the right religion, the constitution or the word of God, the POTUS or Jesus Christ?

My latest book is called Looking Back: A Poets Journey and is my sixth poetry book in just a year and a half. It has been a very tearful and emotional time as I wrote down the pages and started looking back at some of my fans favorites and some of the poetry that made the poet you see today. I hope that you enjoy listening to them as I have enjoyed writing them for you all. Words can never express the happiness that I have inside and I want to thank you all for such a wonderful journey so far.
