En levende fortælling om et helt særligt kapitel af den dansk-grønlandske historie.I 1728-1731 søgte den danske konge, Frederik 4., at sætte skub i koloniseringen af Grønland med en stort anlagt ekspedition, der én gang for alle skulle sikre det danske riges dominans over det enorme land. Der skulle bygges nye kolonier for at få kontrol over den grønlandske befolkning, der skulle rejses et fort til skræk og advarsel for konkurrerende nationer, og en europæisk kolonibefolkning skulle grundlægges.

Jason was born a prince of the kingdom of Argos. But when Jason was a child, his uncle Pelias stole the throne and sent Jason into hiding. Now a young man, Jason returns to claim his birthright. But Pelias only sneers. He demands that Jason prove himself by retrieving the priceless magical Golden Fleece from the far-off land of Colchis. Jason accepts the challenge and gathers a ship full of Greek war heroes to aid him.

At the start of the twentieth century, Marie Curie, a Polish physicist and chemist, stunned the scientific world. Her research led to the discovery of two elements, polonium and radium. She also examined the most unusual property of these elements: radioactivity.
