"Sans famille" est un roman d'Hector Malot, publié en 1878. Rémi est un petit garçon trouvé, d'abord hébergé par la mère Barberin. Il est ensuite vendu à un saltimbanque, Maître Vitalis. C'est auprès de cet homme bourru que Rémi va parcourir la France et apprendre la vie, n'abandonnant jamais son courage et son optimisme. Le petit garçon va grandir à travers ses expériences et ses rencontres.
