Financial Apocalyptic Fiction

After losing their four-year-old daughter to a mysterious pandemic, Benton and Jennifer, along with their friends, decide to leave the coast. But after encountering a storm, they are forced to dock at an unknown island. After discovering some unusual findings, they begin to realize that the island has a bit of a history. Once they become convinced that the pandemic actually originated there, they begin to wonder if they'll leave the island alive.

The streets are filled with rioting . . . But the ocean isn't much safer. Emory is fifteen miles away from the shoreline when he hears the crackling in the sky. A bright flash takes place, and then the motor on his boat dies. The nuclear bomb has caused an EMP. After running out of food and bottled water, he thinks about swimming back. But there is a shark circling his boat. Running out of time, he needs to figure something out fast. Even if he makes it back to shore, how will he adjust to a collapsed society? Either way, he is in for a shocking surprise.
