When Ishmael Jones and his partner Penny are asked to escort a VIP on the late-night train to Bath, it would appear to be a routine case. The Organisation has acquired intelligence that an attempt is to be made on Sir Dennis Gregson’s life as he travels to Bath to take up his new position as Head of the British Psychic Weapons Division. Ishmael’s mission is to ensure that Sir Dennis arrives safely. How could anyone orchestrate a murder in a crowded railway carriage without being noticed and with no obvious means of escape?

Ishmael Jones and his partner Penny have been summoned to remote Cardavan House, home of the world’s largest private collection of Ancient Egyptian artifacts, for the unveiling of George Cardavan’s latest acquisition: a bone fide Egyptian mummy. This production is a full audio dramatization of one of the most popular horror stories of the past 200 years. In this story, a man (Edward) is afforded a place to stay in exchange for doing chores around the house. However, his landlord (Mr. Graves), a friendly and gracious old man, has one characteristic which drives Edward to the brink of madness: a pale blue eye. Eventually, Edward decides that he can't take the eye any longer, and despite his generally cordial relationship with Mr. Graves, is determined to kill him, thus ridding himself of the eye forever.

The accidental deaths of two students appear random, tragic events, except that in each case a copy of a book by John Millington Synge is found beneath the body. Jack begins to believe that "The Dramatist", a calculating killer, is out there, enticing him to play. As the case twists and turns Jack's refuge, the city of Galway, now demands he sacrifice the only love he's maintained, and while Iraq burns, he seems a step away from the abyss.
