The Domestic Abuse: His Story, Husband Abuse, and Partner Abuse bundle.

In Shattered to Shining, nine women and one male domestic violence survivor describe how they were shattered, as their home became a place where physical and sexual violence, emotional and psychological control dominated their lives. Through persistence and courage, they have risen above their situation and come out the other side shining with positivity, strength, commitment, and empathy for others.

In domestic abuse situations, some men try to explain why they felt they had to abuse. Some of the men realize and admit that it was their fault. They admit they need help. Others blame everyone else. These stories are the abusers' side. They are in no way glamorized. The abuser is never made to look like the victim. These men tell why they feel they abused their girlfriends and wives. Some realize they are to blame and seek help.

Husband Abuse - This section is completely about men being abused by their mates. Most men can’t talk about it, let alone seek help if they are being abused. They are afraid of being ridiculed or looked upon as being weak. Most of these men have never raised a hand to their abuser. This is a side of abuse that is very rarely heard about.
