Spring is about to arrive in Glasgow, but it's already been a busy year and Leger needs a break, especially after he cheats death through sheer luck and uses up one of his lives. Still coming to terms with all the changes in their lives, Annabella decides it's time for the family to take a summer vacation. On the spur of the moment, she takes Leger and Bob back to the island to reconnect with Hugh and reminisce about old times. However, when a mysterious grey-haired man is discovered beaten and left for dead on the beach just as they arrive in the town, Leger decides to solve the case. It's not going to be easy since he's facing a lack of support and an injury to his paw but with the help of some new faces, Leger becomes extremely determined to solve the case.
