Sarah is based on the true-life story of my mother. Sarah’s story is the second book in the Sewards' family memoirs. The first book, Rachel: A Life Interrupted, is based on my grandmother’s life story. When I wrote Rachel’s memoir, I received many questions concerning Sarah.
