I Pinkertonmålet avslöjades en omfattande insiderhandel på New York-börsen i det anrika säkerhetsbolaget Pinkertons aktier. En stor del av handeln hade skett från Sverige och det var det största insidermål som dittills förekommit i Europa. Det resulterade en massiv uppmärksamhet från media, tidningar och tv följde förundersökningen noga, och rättegången i Stockholms tingsrätt bevakades intensivt. Torsdag den 18. maj 2000 klokken 23.33 indgik der en anmeldelse til alarmcentralen i Odense fra en mand, der ønskede at anmelde, at han troede, at der lå en død mand på gulvet i en villa i Korup, Odense NV. Anmelderen ringede fra et hus, hvor han havde henvendt sig for at låne en telefon. Huset lå cirka en kilometer fra gerningsstedet og indeholdt den lokale cykelforretning.

I was stalked by a gorgeous female half my age. It was so unbelievable that no one believed me, my friends, coworkers, and family all abandoned me when I most needed them. And many of them did far worse that I am just finding out about.
