The Velveteen Rabbit is a classic children's story about a boy's toy rabbit becoming real. It is one of my favorite stories that my mother used to read to me growing up. I'm very grateful to bring you this audiobook recording and to keep the magic alive for another generation.

"The Wolf and the Fox" is a German fairy tale collected by the Brothers Grimm. The story involves a greedy, gluttonous wolf living with a fox. The wolf makes the fox do all his work and threatens to eat him if he doesn't otherwise comply. The fox, in turn, devises a scheme to rid himself of the wolf.

The circus has arrived at last. Prince Martin and his cousin, Princess Margaret, have a glorious time - until they see a scary Northman selling a blind bear cub into captivity. When the kids intervene, the Northman’s cryptic threat chills their blood.... But with the help of old friends, they hatch a plan to rescue the cub - and take him home to Northland, where the colossal creatures are bad...and the Northmen are worse.

This classic and moving story shines light on the supernatural powers of genuine love. Margery Williams beautifully portrays the desire to be fully known and fully loved as the thing that makes one feel most real. The little toy rabbit, forgotten and aging, learns he can only truly experience life through the love of a child. After finally feeling the joys of a child’s love, the poor rabbit once again faces a hopeless future as the fear of being forgotten seems a likely fate.

Animal lovers of all ages will cherish this memorable story. Perhaps the most celebrated animal story of the 19th century, Black Beauty is the suspenseful and deeply moving account of a horse's experiences at the hands of many owners - some, sensitive riders who treated him gently; others, cruel drivers who thoughtlessly inflicted lasting damage.
