Peter Sutcliffe – a.k.a The Yorkshire Ripper – brutally attacked 20 women, of whom only seven survived. He managed to evade the police for several years until he was arrested for having a fake license plate on his car. After two days of interrogation, he confessed to being the Yorkshire Ripper.

It was only after a patient's daughter raised objections to her mother's will that the full extent of Shipman's crimes came to light.

Agatha Christie, born in upper-middle-class British society during the late Victorian era, turned into one of the most prolific and popular mystery writers of all time.
