Since the earliest days of Christianity, there have been continual doctrinal battles concerning the faith. As time passed, theologians presented new theories and “revelations” concerning God and His word. Because of this, many are unsure of what to believe and of what is the proper way to approach God in religion and relationship. In this series, we will reflect on the correlation between religion, relationship, and righteousness in Christianity. Book 1 of 3.

In this first book of the apologetic discipline series, we will trace the earliest manifestations of apologetics. We will examine the biblical record of apologetic expressions and emanations from the Garden throughout Jewish history. In addition, the development of apologetic groups within the Jewish community will be explicated. Moreover, apologetic personalities will be explored. It is our hope that the information presented will help the modern apologist operate in this ministry with a proper understanding and foundation.

According to the Holy Bible, Jesus is much more than a man - he is in fact the personification of God and he existed with the Heavenly Father before becoming a man, born of woman by conception of the Holy Spirit. The scriptures also state that the "Godhead" is eternal and consists of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. This further reveals the fact that Jesus pre-existed his birth as a human being on earth. He was in-fact "sent" by the Father according to the Holy Bible.

The use of intercessory beings in prayer hasn't always been the normal accepted practice. As Christianity and paganism began to merge under the rule of the Byzantine Empire, many elements that existed within paganism were "Christianized" and adapted for use by the Church. This article will trace a possible origin for the use of intercessory beings in Christian prayer and will use evidence from the scriptures and noncanonical Christian books to weigh the use of intercessory beings against prayer.
