Ancient Poetry

Classical poetry is a genre of poetry. Judging from the number of words in the verse, there are so-called four-character poems, five-character poems, seven-character poems, and miscellaneous poems. This album is the first series of "Ancient Poems", which recites and interprets ancient poems.

Mise en images, portée sur la scène des cabarets, elle a connu une fortune extraordinaire.

This evocative poem was first published in 1832 but republished in 1842 with extensive alterations.
