This is the 12th book in the caveman kids series Now everybody has settled in to the cave for the coming winter and there are stocks of food and wood stacked up so the cave will be a comfortable home during the winter. This time they are crouched under the mammoth skins as the day turns to night and the howling wind tries to cover them with sand. The sand creeps through all the gaps and holes in the mammoth skins and where they are tightly wrapped around each other the sand still manages to get in. When the wind dies down and the Sun comes out they crawl out from under the Skins to a completely changed landscape.
