The Little Valley library is shutting its doors due to a terrible combination of anonymous threats and a lack of funding. The sheriff is stumped in the investigation of who is sending the threats, so amateur sleuths, Anna and Beth, step in to help.

A classic mystery for the festive season: mulled wine, mince pies...and murder. Mordecai Tremaine, former tobacconist and perennial lover of romance novels, has been invited to spend Christmas in the sleepy village of Sherbroome, at the country retreat of one Benedict Grame. Arriving on Christmas Eve, he finds that the revelries are in full flow - but so, too, are tensions amongst the assortment of guests.

It’s been a hard year for Steve and Katie Nicholas. They fought vengeful ghosts as well as psychotic living relatives, and that was just their first year of marriage. Holly has a second writing gig as a true crime reporter in mind, but there's only one problem: The new love interest keeping her warm is determined she should not write about the one thing her heart desires.
