My name is Brett. I'm a college-educated man who was once a husband of 26 years with two children, three businesses, and a large home with an actual white picket fence. I'm also a drug addict. My memoir book is in dedication to everyone who is suffering from addiction or knows someone who is. When I first started writing this book years ago, I had no idea the opioid problem would become as bad as it has. Too many people are dying from this epidemic, and it must stop. My childhood was taken away due to prescription drug addiction and created many problems for me growing up. If I can help even one person, then my mission is complete.
