The Silver Chair by C.S. Willie's life is altered by war; his life is falling into a spiral. He can’t walk and is bound by a wheelchair rendering him helpless. On top of that his sexual life has taken a dive. Along with being unable to walk he can’t get an erection. And the once happy life he and his wife had built together starts falling apart. With this last nail, his wife of several years can no longer take it. Leaving Willie to fend for himself all alone in a house that can’t sustain his new condition.
