>i>Carry On Jeeves once again follows the humorous everyday lives of Bertie Wooster and his gentleman's gentleman Jeeves. As the helpful soul that he is, Bertie continues to try to come to the aid of his friends whenever they're in need, and although his intentions are always for the best nothing ever seems to work out quite right for anyone until Jeeves steps in and invariably saves the day.

The ubiquitous butler, Jeeves, comes to the rescue of his new master, Bertie Wooster, from a fate worse than death, so they say. And in the second tale, poor Bertie is summarily dispatched to New York, by an overbearing aunt, to extract his cousin from an amorous affair with a vaudeville artiste! How absolutely dreadful! Jeeves’ managing of affairs offers such wonderful amusing stories that make us laugh and enjoy his ingenuity to the fullest.

Who but P.G. Wodehouse could have extracted high comedy from the most noble and ancient game of golf? And who else could have combined this comedy with a real appreciation of the game, drawn from personal experience?
