We discuss the convoluted, unexpectedly bizarre plot, the standout set pieces and some iconic performances. This week we have taken a pause in our usual proceedings to give a full discussion to the newest Marvel movie: 'Thunderbolts*'. We talkabout a return to form for Marvel, and how the film manages to balance so many different backstories more eloquently than anything else that's released thus far in the Multiverse Saga. We chat about the film's top moments, rank MCU projects since Endgame and answer a whole heap of listener questions. Enjoy!

That asterisk is an incredible marketing ploy. I imagine now studios will be trying to force other punctuation marks into their movie titles. Godzilla > Kong , Avatar; Out of This World or Indiana Jones @ The Base of a Mountain. Surely now if there was another Thunderbolts movie, seeing them return to their rag tag group after failing in their new title, the film would be called 'Thunderbolts**2, just something to think about.

Pulled back to the Overworld, Minecraft Steve must work to close three portals that have opened to other dimensions. In the first, he battles vampires whilst singing the blues, in the second he works with Tom Hardy to take down a corrupt police squad, and in the third he battles on the front lines with American troops. This week we talkabout the Avengers film that we waited a year for and then it delivered above and beyond our expectations: 'Avengers Endgame'. We take part in a time heist as we go back 6 years to reminisce on one of the best cinema experiences in our lifetimes. Does Smart Hulk make sense? Is Thanos worthy of lifting Mjolnir? Is Paul Rudd the MVP in the movie? And why did Chris Evans shave his glorious beard off? There's so much to unpack and we do just that, as well as conducting a draft pick of the best moments across this film and the Avengers film previous. Honestly looking back and editing the episode, there's so much we didn't discuss. America's ass, Loki's escape, Thor's catch up with his mum, the Ant Man up Thanos' butt theory...this film has so much going on and we only scratch the surface here. This week we finally dedicate a whole episode to the film that started this podcast: 'Avengers: Infinity War'. We talk character arcs, Thanos' journey, needle drops and all things Marvel as we check in to see if this legendary cinematic experience holds up 7 years later. We also take part in a draft pick of Marvel characters and go through some suggested plot holes that have done the rounds online. Enjoy!

There's all this teasing that Thor should've gone for the head, but maybe Thanos is like a chicken and can survive for a bit with his nutsack chin rolling around on the floor. Thor should've gone for the thumb. No way he could snap his fingers with those opposable bad boys on the floor!

This week we talkabout a Bong Joon Ho classic: 'Snowpiercer'. We've got our protein bars at hand and are ready for a train expedition, as we discuss the highs and lows of the 2013 film. We chat about the revelations that present themselves throughout, wonder why the translators stop being used, and of course we praise the marvellous Chris Evans! They need one of those emergency stop levers like they have in 'The Polar Express' to stop the train! If someone had pulled one of those early doors, they all could have escaped. Actually, now we mention it, this train was severely lacking in a hot chocolate musical number too, and a caribou crossing. It's April and now we just want to watch 'The Polar Express'.

It's not just reviews though as we also discuss the biggest entertainment news stories with a big chat about 'Avengers Doomsday', share our thoughts on the new double act at the helm for James Bond and pay tribute to legendary actor Val Kilmer.

In the third season of Severance, we learn about cloning at Lumon, as Adam Scott is faced with another innie version of himself, and he's not the first. 'Sevenance'...coming soon to a streaming service near you.

This week we talkabout the fourth in the 'Indiana Jones' franchise; one frowned upon by critics and slept on by fans. It's 'Kingdom of the Crystal Skull'. We talk about the monkeys, the ants, the fridge, the Ray Winstone, the magnets, the sketchy Russian accents, the quicksand, the waterfalls and of course the aliens. It's an episode with very differing opinions and a surprising amount of nostalgia. We also conduct a draft pick of sequels that released 15 years after their predecessor. Enjoy!

Most people who know Indiana Jones as Indiana Jones also know him as Henry Jones. It begs the question why have the alternate name. It's not like it takes a genius to work out their the same person anyway, they have the same surname after all. Everywhere Indy goes people know he's a professor, so why do they play it off like Henry Jones is the Clark Kent to Indy's Superman?
