It’s been a blast and a memorable debut at the Dampfer floor I will never forget. Indeed my favourite floor at sisyphos 🚢 Besides: Beeing naked is only a thing in your mind. I loved the whole atmosphere at the NTP event and felt super comfty. And YES!!! I had so much fun behind and in front the decks. It felt like a little childhood dream come true. Ok as a child I certainly had other dreams (for example to become an astronaut), but retrospectively that would have been on my wish list too. Maria, Jim and Maris played fantastic sets in advance that absolutely boiled the floor. As my playtime approached, I spontaneously decided to ask @s_maris if she would like to play B2B for a while. No sooner said than done. After half an hour, however, the technology on one player went on strike. Was it a sign? I don't know, but Maris said goodbye and from then on I was alone playing. What can I say? Like the whole evening, it was fantastic to close the floor in front of the hungry crowd. The spark was definitely there. A fantastic feeling and a memory I wouldn't want to miss. Munich, I love you. No joke. ♥️ A thousand thanks to all the dance-loving people there and the great feedback after the set. Also on the way home to the train ;) But I'd like to give a huge compliment to @maria-theresia-von-eberg, who organised the event with such passion and commitment. Without her, it certainly wouldn't have been so well. 🙏 Thanks also to all my friends like @elektro-uwe , @florian-el-diabolo , Andy & Laura who were there and supported me throughout the evening. After my last years gig there at the Acid Bogen Stage, I had to play a single session for 3:30 hours from 23:55 until 03:30 pm at the famous Hopper floor. For me a premiere. I've always wanted to play on this floor and was totally excited about the opportunity beforehand. Of course, I was also a little nervous. After all, I opened the floor and the clubnight with a little break after the bands had played. But when the first sounds rang out, I was drawn in. The floor got more and more crowded. The people were more extatic and full of joy. It was a total pleasure for me to see that the crowd not only liked my kind of faster music, but also more experimental pieces worked. All around a gig to enjoy and remember. Thanks for all the smiling faces and the dancing ecstasy on the floor. Will come back for sure. And a sound system that blows your mind away. A perfect combination to serve you my definition of downtempo. I opened the open air, so I had the opportunity to play some of my beloved melodic and hypnotic downtempo tracks, which I usualy like to play in podcasts only. After some time I changed the mood a little bit and added more bounce and energy to the floor but still kept the hypnotic atmosphere there. Plus moved the BPM step by step up... until I ended at 110 bpm, what https://soundcloud.com/haensenundgretel asked me for :D I think it worked out perfectly. This idea of a symbiosis between the crowd and a dj is something what I felt there during my set and especially at the end. And Iam so gratefull for that. Especially because I reg. dont play downtempo sets more as you maybee know. Maybee I should overthink that point of view.
