  • Heather - Modify The How Not The If
    May 21 2025

When was the last time you thought you couldn’t do something anymore?

Today I want to introduce you to Heather, Heather is someone that you could walk by her office and ask for her help, someone who would listen and genuinely seek to show up for you. She is one that has a smile, will share a laugh with you, and one that has lived life enough to know, there isn’t only one way forward

We chat about the joy in celebrating adulthood and getting to pursue new things, even if they are unplanned or scary. We chat about showing up and stepping towards a need instead of away, and what it looks like to know the love you give matters.

She shares about life shifting, about a young marriage, about learning to lean on family, about trusting yourself enough to accept help, and how music and its connection to her faith bring her peace

She shares about how life shifted after brain surgery and how the reminder from someone who is for her, shifted how she chose to move forward in life. How life may have new methods or different paces, but that we get to find new ways forward even in change that is out of our control

This conversation with Heather felt like a theme lately for me, a voice of things I needed to hear, to be filled with hope, to cheer yourself on, and to show up and love with an eternal optimistic light

So tune in today and meet Heather, and I dare you to walk away from this conversation without a smile on your face. If this impacts you half as much as it did for me, you will be reminded what it is to do what we can, to love well, speak openly, and to be community, both to and a part of what is around us.

And to you Heather thank you, thank you for the reminder to hold deeply on to hope, to be my own cheerleader, for taking the time and agreeing to a conversation you knew little about, for being fully you, and for allowing me the honor of sharing a part of your story with others. I’m so glad I get to know you and see you in the office.

  • Elona - Life Happens For You Not To You
    May 14 2025

Have you ever felt like life is happening to you and not for you?

Today I want to introduce you to Elona, this is actually the first in person conversation I got to have with this sweet soul and I am truly grateful that life continues to bring people like this into mine

Elona is one that chooses to use her life, her experience, and all that has existed in her life, to hold space for others and demonstrate the value of humanity

She shares how loss at a young age, and having to face her own mortality pointed her to growing in knowing, and loving who she is inside and out. How mental peace creates clarity, how clarity allows for compassion, and how we can be afraid of something and embrace it at the same time

We chat about how confidence and desperation can coexist within us, how time can heal all, but only if we do the work in that time, and how we can often allow ourselves to believe the lie that, “if we were known” we would somehow be less worthy.

She shares wisdom that speaks of times in her life no one should have had to endure, of empathy and value for humanity regardless of how it differs from her own values and experiences, and the beauty that comes when we allow ourselves to exist in the silence.

I’ve grown a fast and deep respect for the way this human chooses to show up in the world, for the way she has chosen to use her voice and her work, for how she holds space for others, and for how she holds space to be herself. I find often we forget the value in our own peace, the impact in our own understanding, and the compassion when we are loved from a place of being known; Elona is one such human that is this and more.

So tune in today and meet Elona, a human that is a living example of what it is to see value, compassion, and empathy in one who does not look like us. She is someone who gently and with understanding reminds us that if we allow ourselves to see it as so, that life happens for us not to us, and how deeply that can change life itself.

And to you Elona thank you, thank you for the reminder to be our own best friend, to speak to myself the way I would speak to those I love, to press into the silence of peace in meditation, and for the absolute joy of sharing time with you. Thank you for allowing me the honor of knowing more of your story and allowing others to be impacted as I have been. You are a human choosing to leave this world with an impact of love and healing, and for that you are among what makes humanity truly full of love and beauty.

  • Tell your future self not your younger self
    May 7 2025

So much of where we are going is impacted by where we have been, I can't say I'm one to think I have grand advice worth listening to, but these are things I wrote down at the beginning of the year and as I read back through them recently; I wanted to share them.

They are things I think I want my future self to hold on to, things I want to guide my choices, and things that are true for all of us.

But let me know which one resonates with you the most?

  • Pedro - What You Gain When You Let Go
    Apr 30 2025

What’s the scariest thing you have ever let go of?

Today I want to introduce you to Pedro, someone who does not measure self worth by what one accomplishes, but rather by who it is that you value yourself to be

Pedro is someone that has chosen to change, learn and grow into someone that values sharing who he is, what he has, and what he’s learned with those around him

We chat about what it means to learn something new everyday, the way fear impacts the daily little decisions, and accepting that we don’t have to be good at everything

He shares how walking away from alcohol changed the trajectory of his life, how our view of who we are needs to understand the value of every aspect of ourselves; physically, mentally, and spiritually

He shares how being quiet and listening to what you feel, before you act or respond, how it allows him to not deny who he is, but rather to understand it and grow in it

Pedro is a human full of sincerity, patience, ease, joy for life, and knowledge that comes from knowing just how fragile the choices we make can allow us to become, but also how impactful and beautiful our decisions allow us to grow into who we are

So tune in today and meet Pedro, one that will remind you that anything is possible, that life is not something to be discarded but rather something to dive into and see what we get become

And to you Pedro thank you for allowing me to share this conversation with you, for the honor of having your trust in sharing a part of your journey and your story, for the reminder that we are defined by who we choose to be, to not take life to seriously, and to be myself first. You are one leaving others better than you find them, and impacting the world in a beautiful way. Looking forward to being in the water with you again soon.

  • Jorge - The Pace That Matters Is Your Own
    Apr 16 2025

What makes someone worth getting to know?

Today I want to introduce you do Jorge, a human worth knowing, one who sees, values, and moves towards another with a heart to make them feel seen

I had the privilege of meeting Jorge at an event in NYC a few weeks ago, and as luck would have it, he agreed to sit down with me. We had chatted briefly that day, and I could tell there was something about how he chooses to show up in the world that I wanted others to hear more of, and if I’m honest, I wanted to know more as well

As we talked he shared with me how he approaches life as a daydreamer, a romantic about the reality that there is much to be joyful and positive about this life. He shares how intentionality and valuing each day as if it were a lifetime in it of itself, how when a thing is listed it holds value, and how allowing others to be on a journey as much as we are as well could change everything

We chat about hitting rock bottom, in life, in loss, and how those moments and the things we learn from them change us in many ways for the better. We chat about what it is to approach others with curiosity, an open heart, and an open mind, and the message that, “everything will be ok.”

He shares the value of his culture and the impact of what it means to add to a country and leave it better than we found it, what it means to value the femininity in women and in oneself, and the importance of showing up as our best selves

Jorge is a human that is putting good into the world, one that sees humanity for the value it possesses, and one who values his own place and impact with integrity.

So tune in today and meet Jorge, someone that I am confident will inspire you to be you, be present, see another, and be present with them as well

And to you Jorge thank you, than you for taking the time to value a conversation, both the day I met you and in this one as well. For the honor of sharing a part of your life with others, and for the way you have reminded me to value the speed in which my own life unfolds. You are one impacting the world for the better and I am honored to know you my friend.

  • Sam - A Soul Of Intentionality & Warmth
    Apr 9 2025

If you could help someone, if it cost you something, your time or energy; would you do it?

Today I want to introduce you to Sam, Sam is a human who is filled with an ability to help, be it his knowledge and skill as a creative, his athleticism and drive as an adventure athlete, or his practical and life saving skills as a doctor. But all that aside, Sam is one that has value beyond what any skill can offer…

Sam is one that sees another with a heart to step towards them, not in a rushed or unsure way, but with purposeful action and care. Sam is someone I am honored to call a friend and one I know you will understand why as you get to hear from him today

We chat about having a desire to help others and a fear of not living that out, about the impact of picking up a camera for the first time maybe later than others have, and what it’s like coming together with other creatives, how the collective holds more value than any one aspect

He shares some gentle and impactful advice; the reminder to listen to your mom, to be kid to each other, to take care of others, but most importantly why it matters to care for yourself. He shares what it’s like in Switzerland, an appreciation for the differences in culture and humanity, and the way contentment has shifted for him as life grows

Sam is one that I found to remind me what it is to see the day to day for what it is, and not more, the peace in a good workout, in accomplishing a goal, and in living life to the extent that you desire

So tune in and meet Sam, a human that challenges himself to see others in new ways, to care for those around him and learn from humanity and life itself, and to not lose sight of how “ok” it is that we get to grow

And to you Sam thank you, thank you for all the sweet ways you showed up throughout our trip, for the consistent yes when help was needed, for your ability to laugh with others, and even more so, to listen. This world is a better place with you in it and I’m better for knowing you and getting to call you a friend.

  • Becca - See Yourself With Confidence
    Apr 2 2025

What if you weren’t worried about being enough for someone else? What if you lived fully as who you were meant to be?

Today I want to introduce you to Becca, I met Becca on a creator trip I hosted last year, and her joining for another one here in Bolivia was something truly special

I believe we meet people for a reason, but I also believe we don’t always meet people as our best selves; but who we are is always present, the root and the heart of what makes us who we are, it is what another gets to know

If I’m being honest, when I met Becca I was in a different head space that I am now, but something about her, her intentionality to know who someone is, her ability to be seen for who she is, I’m truly grateful to know her and call her a friend

We chat about EVERYTHING! Literally, from health to what keeps us up at night, to why she loves meat sticks, and why the authentic joys of life lead to accepting yourself for who you are

She shares about the pain and growth in loving someone fully, and the importance in giving yourself that same love, the joy in laughing till you cry, and the reality of silencing self doubt

Becca is someone I admire, look up to, and value as a human in my life. She is one who understands that fear is an invitation to move forward and see what comes of life, and one that knows growth is on the other side of what we fear

So tune in and meet Becca, one who will tell you so sincerely that you deserve to experience life, all of it, so so fully, and one who will remind you not to dim your light for anyone

And to you Becca thank you, thank you for the late night chats, the raw and real soul that you so sincerely allow me to know, the laughter, oh the endless laughter, and that absolute gift of calling you my friend. Love you endlessly
