Rethinking how I think about the meds that help me think

Everytime I visit my psychiatrist it seems another medication is added to the psychotropic cocktail that I depend on to manage my existence in this world. Can I remember what it was like to not be on these meds? Not really. Am I better now than I was then? Also not really. Should I stop taking my meds completely and see if I feel better? Probably not. Probably no one should do that without talking to their doctor. ( And the legal team from Search Engine would likely agree). But it definitely makes me think about how the meds I take might be affecting me, and maybe it's not the way I think I need.
